The butterflies displayed below are suitable for releases at weddings, showers, Easter, graduation, anniversaries, memorials, and other events. Listed below, with each photo, is a short statement sharing information about each butterfly. Please remember that the USDA governs which butterfly can be released in your state. If we can not ship you the butterfly you want and they are found locally in your area, we may find a butterfarm farm in your state which would be able to ship those butterflies to you. For the best all round preformance, we recomend Monarch butterflies. For use in centerpieces and displays, we recommend Painted Ladies.

Monarch	Buy Now Monarchs $8.00 Monarchs are the best all purpose release butterflies. They are large, strong, and majestic gliders. Monarchs are perfect for Accordion Release Boxes as well as individual and mass release boxes. They are easy to see during the release due to their large size. We do not recomend them for "small" or clear center pieces as they have a tendency to try to walk through the glass sides of the container. The reason is that they simply do not see the glass or plastic sides and try to walk. This gives the impression of them being stressed, which is not so. It can, however, stress your guests to see them act in a way that appears as if they are trying to 'escape'! There is a quanity discount when you purchase more: Less than 12 price is $8.00;12 to 59 price is $7.00; 60 to 119 price is $6.50, Over 119 price is $6.25.
Painted Lady	Buy Now Painted Ladies $5.50 These cute little orange critters are a great butterfly for displays, centerpieces, and place settings. They are used often for butterfly releases. Due to there small size and quick flight pattern, they are not as showy as Monarch butterflies. They are, however, much less expensive! There is a quanity discount when you purchase a larger quantity: Less than 12 price is $5.50; 12 to 59 price is $5.00; 60 to 119 price is $4.50, Over 119 price is $4.25.
Gulf Fritillary	Buy Now Gulf Fritillary $7.50 Gulf Fritillary butterflies are a great butterfly for butterfly releases to states where Monarch butterflies cannot be shipped (refer to the USDA Permit Listing). They are beautiful with silver underwings. Gulf Releasing Gulf Fritillaries add a unique touch to a wedding as they are not often released due to the fact that few butterfly farmers raise this species.
Zebra Longwing Butterfly	Buy Now Zebra Longwing $6.50 Zebra Longwing butterflies are a great butterfly for butterfly releases because they seem to hover in place. Their color is yellow/white stripes on black. They can not be ship to many states but they are a pleasure. To purchase please refer to the USDA Permit Listing. They are a little more fragile than Monarchs
Buckeye	Buy Now Buckeye(Florida Only) $5.50 These beautiful small butterflies are for only our Florida Customers. If you live in another state and you especially want Buckeyes for your wedding, locate a butterfly farm in your own state. They will be able to ship Buckeye butterflies to you. These butterflies are excellent in arrangements such as centerpieces. They are very quick and less noticable than larger species and may not be the best choice for a butterfly release. There is a quanity discount when you purchase a larger quantity: Less than 12 price is $5.50;12 to 59 price is $5.00; 60 to 119 price is $4.50, Over 119 price is $4.25.
Queen	These beautiful burgundy-brown butterflies are for only our Florida Customers. If you live in another state and you especially want Queens for your wedding, locate a butterfly farm in your state. They will be able to sell them to you if Queen butterflies are native to your state. These butterflies are excellent and put on quite a show as a release butterfly. They are nearly as large as Monarchs and have similar flying habits. They are less expensive than Monarch butterflies.
Eastern Black Swallowtail	These Large Blue/Yellow/Black butterflies blend quite well in wedding lace surroundings. They are larger than Monarchs and are great for releases. We do not always have these available but when we do they do add a good touch in small numbers for your wedding. We do not schedule Eastern Black Swallowtails; we can ship them if they are in stock and add them into mixtures.
Red Admiral	These butterflies are quite showy with their bright Orange splashes of color. They do very well in centerpieces they may be too quick to release unless there are some nearby flowers for them to land and nectar on.
White Peacock	Buy Now White Peacock $5.50 These cute little white butterflies fit in quite nicely with wedding lace. They are smaller than Monarchs, like Painted Lady butterflies. They do not fly very far and often land on the ground. When released, they may fly tp wedding bouquets and arrangements, a wonderful compliment to the flowers. These butterflies are for Florida customers only. There is a quanity discount when you purchase a larger quantity: Less than 12 price is $5.50;12 to 59 price is $5.00; 60 to 119 price is $4.50, Over 119 price is $4.25.
Florida Mix	Buy Now Florida Mix $6.50 This Florida Mix is a real savings on your wallet. This Mix contains several species that can be sold and shipped within Florida only.See Florida mix. Also included in the mixture are species listed above when they are available. This is for the bride who would like a larger variety of butterfly species at her Wedding.
National Mix	Buy Now National Mix $6.50 This beautiful National mixture of butterflies are priced lower than an all Monarch butterfly release and a bit higher than an all Painted Lady butterfly release. If you are out of Florida, this mixture is usually Painted Ladies and Monarchs with a few other specie that are legal to ship across state lines. We work hard to give a great balance of species and will give a good mix for the money. This mixture is for the bride who would like more than one species of butterfly at her wedding.
